7 May 2011 - Consultation 11 - Mission Trends in East Asia

Date: Sat 7 May 2011
Time: 12 to 3.15 pm
Place:  Prinsept Street Presbyteiran Church
Speaker: Rev. Dr. Patrick Fung
(General Director, OMF International)

Synopsis:

Jesus told his disciples to go and make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:18-20). It has been estimated that 80% of East Asia's 2 billion people live today in Creative Access Nations (CAN) where missionaries are no longer welcome. What are some strategic approaches that we can adopt in reaching out to these Gospel neglected frontiers among East Asia's unreached in spite of closed doors? How can we respond to the challenges and opportunities God has opened up for us amidst the rapidly changing facades of East Asia? Are we equal to such a task?
